My name is Ebele Nwafor-Orizu, nickname Ebypotato. My professional background is that of a scientist. I have a BSc in Microbiology, an MSc in Medical Bioscience, and am currently pursuing a PhD in Human Sciences. My specific focus is on the mechanisms of action of naturally derived bioactive peptides for eradicating tumour cells. I enjoy science, especially biological, environmental, and conservation sciences, and marvel at the amazing feats mankind has achieved to date.

When the lab coat comes off, the creativity stays on. I see art everywhere, from the order of cells under a microscope to the beautiful chaos of everyday life. I am a minimalist at heart, focusing on simplicity and creativity in everything I design. Whether I am working on graphic design, illustration, photography, junk journaling, or crafting digital planners for my shop. Being naturally curious, I constantly experiment with various art mediums, with digital media being my preferred choice. I am always exploring new ways to express myself.

I am an avid consumer of literature, whether it is a research paper, magazine, blog or a good old novel. My genre of interest spreads far across different topics, regions, and cultures. I see the world as a poetic rhythm of unending stories. Life is happening at every moment, which inspires me to capture it through words. Since I was able to read, I have been writing from my heart in both digital and physical journals. I have written short novels, comics, short stories, and, best of all, poems. One of my most personal pieces is a poem called 'The World In My Head', where I used both words and art to map out what goes on in my mind. It serves as a bridge between my logical scientific side and my wandering creative spirit. My dream is to one day become a published author of both scientific journals and creative literature.

Devout Christian. I believe in my Lord Jesus Christ and His sacrifice of love. My life philosophy is based on His greatest command: "Love God and love your neighbour" (Matthew 22:37–39).
Good food. Cooking is my love language. In my home, I always ensure that everyone is well-fed. As a side quest I became a certified baker.
Animated movies and TV shows. Some of my favourites include Love Death Robots, F Is for Family, Demon Slayer, and Bojack Horseman.
Music, podcasts and audiobooks. I enjoy true crime, mystery, conspiracies, and science talk shows. During my teenage years, I used to make rap music and recorded a song that was a hit at my secondary school in 2015. You can listen to Grass to grace, a song written and produced by me and featuring my friend Brimah ♫.
